Dropping off parcels

Dear Parents & Guardians,


The dropping off of parcels at reception is not permitted.

This will only be permitted for an emergency such as, medication which must be accompanied with a Doctor’s letter concerning dosage etc. Lunch boxes may also be dropped off at school, however this must not be taken advantage of.

Distributing parcels that have been dropped off causes a disruption to education e.g. announcements have to be made, and a student must leave their classroom.

Recently we have had an influx of parents wanting to drop off their child’s project. This is not acceptable.

Learners are given lengthy periods of time to complete a project together with, being informed of the completion date, one has to wonder why the learner leaves it at home.

This is due to the fact the learner knows the parent will bring it to school for them.

Responsibility is not being taught to learners at home, caring and managing given tasks is also not being taught.

Time management is a big aspect in all our lives.

Learners should pack their bags the night before. School bags should be ready to just pick up and go in the mornings.

Please refrain from dropping off, PT clothes, projects, books, match clothes, stationery etc. as they will not be accepted at the front office. As we do not have the facility to ensure the safety of money for the tuck shop, please do not drop money off.

Arguments at reception or, the front office will not be entered into concerning this, our ladies are following instructions. Negotiations concerning this will also not be entered into.
